Chirstmas Day

After a fun morning at home, we headed to Nana's!  We had a our usual late morning brunch and then we did presents.   Very happy Nana caught this family photo.  It doesn't happen often enough.

I didn't capture a full photo of this but Kam was playing the guitar and was playing the drums.  Plus Baby O really wanted in on the band :)

So thankful Aunt C was able to capture this photo.  It took some effort, to say the least.

Aaaaannnd.  That is Christmas 2015.  Phew!

Christmas Eve

We had another awesome celebration at Grandpa & Grammy's house.  Kam, of course, was a fan of the chocolate fondue.  Brody didn't indulge too much.  That kid really prefers salty snacks over sweet.

They got Brody is awesome paddle tether, tennis ball toy.
He loves it (when he isn't hitting kam with the paddles).

The grown ups REALLY loved it!

Kam is so happy about his new grain truck (yes... this year he got a grain cart, grain truck, and combine... he is preparing for his dream as a future farmer)

When we got home Kam wanted carrots and oranges for the reindeer and cookie with salad for Santa.  He wanted the big guy to have a healthy snack.   Umm.. I wish he would take his own advice!

Brody insisted on a bowl of quac with a spoon... in my bed.  Go figure.

Christmas Morning

I feel so, so fortunate that we are home every Christmas morning.  I love that we have this tradition with the kids.  We try to keep the gifts in check since we celebrate so many times and they are so young.  They each got 2 new toys they wanted and 2 educational things (plus a few stocking stuffers).

Their big gifts from us were some dinosaurs and roar and move for Brody...
and Kam got the combine he has been talking about for MONTHS.

Breakfast was some awesome cinnamon rolls from The French Bee!

Pre Christmas Celebration

I'm going to make the next few posts very brief... just need to get them done!!!!

This year we were with the R family the weekend before Christmas.   A good time was had by all!

Leave it to our party planner Aunt J to have lots of photo props and crafts planned for the kids...

(please excuse the food all over his face... happens)

Tried for a group kids picture.  It didn't go very well.

Bow and arrows were a huge hit!

Brody may have slept with a hockey puck AND the goal when we got home.  I'd say he likes it.

A 2015 Xmas would not be complete without a little Royals pride!

G&G got them rechargeable remote control cars.  SO FUN!

Union Station Trains

Every year we make it out to the see the trains at Union Station before the holidays.  We recently became members and it is sooooo worth it!  The pictures explain our love of this experience so, here ya go....

We went out to dinner at BRGR after.  The kids were a bit pooped and a little restless.  We were those parents that brought ipads to the restaurant.  We don't do it often, but sometimes it is priceless!

December 14, 2015

Random Cute ...

Random snaps of November and a bit of December....

A feel like this will be dangerously duplicated about 10 years from now...

There just aren't enough animals around here...

Guac is best served with a spoon...

Bowling with the kids was a big hit...

Kam recently found some glasses leftover from his 1st birthday.  He likes to pretend they are just like mine and swears he needs them.

Fun day at the farm.  Brody knows where the buggy keys are stored and is pretty insistent about a ride... especially when he knows Kam is out driving the tractor with Grandpa...
