Trouble

I see these three causing a bit of trouble in the future.

These pictures were taken after a fantastic Mother's Day brunch at my Mom's farm!

End Table Make-Over

I found this fun end table on craigslist for $10.  It needed a little love but I like the way it turned out.  In an ideal world, I would have stripped it and re-stained.  I have never done that and wasn't ready to spend the time to learn.  I am planning on using navy and white accents in the living room once the new sofa arrives so this is a start.

Succulent Love

Succulents are very popular right now.  My mom has been loving them for years.  Thank goodness she knows more than me and planted these great pots for my front stoop.  I will repost at the end of the summer to see if they look better or worse :)

Mr. Chubbs

These pics were taken when he was about 8 months old.  Thanks Cindy!

These pictures were fun because they were shot in my childhood home (which was recently purchased and remodeled by my best friend... a long story)!

Coronado & San Diego

Joe needed to be in San Diego for work on Monday so we decided to turn that into a long weekend with the family.  We stayed at the Coronado Island Marriott and had a great experience.  The pool was very warm and K had his first swim!  Our room had a balcony so we could enjoy some adult time after K went to bed.  Overall it was a relaxing family weekend.

On to the important stuff... pictures...

He did VERY well on the plane.  One of his favorite games was take the sunglasses off Mommy's face (probably not a smart thing to encourage since I wear glasses but it entertained him for a long time... like 3 whole minutes).  I brought along all kinds of baby-safe, non "baby" things for him to play with.  His favorite were an old cell phone, small hair brush, and the sunglasses.  He is SO over baby toys :)

Chillin' in the park next to the hotel

So cool

First swim!  He loved it!
