The Lake with W family

We started the morning swimming at the "beach" with the kids while the dad's fished.  They LOVED playing in the sand and rocks.

Once on the boat, Kamden assumed is usual seat.

shhhh... don't tell him that there is only a bobber on the end of that rod :)

Visit from Aunt S & J

Aunt S and J were in town from the San Francisco area for a friend's wedding.  It was a great excuse to get everyone together.  The family hosting has twin boys that will be starting 5th grade.  Fortunately, she held on to a lot of the toys they loved earlier in life.  Kamden was super shy when we got there but as soon as a massive amount of cars and trains came into the picture... he was as friendly as could be :)

TRAINS!  YAY!
(sorry, not great photos)

July 4th Celebrations

The weekend before the 4th of July is a big deal in my parent's town.  They have all there celebrations then...  including a parade and very impressive firework display.  Unfortunately, fireworks are terrifying to most 2 year olds (not to mention way past bedtime).

Enjoying some watermelon and buggy rides before the events...

At the parade... it was short but had a very large number of fire trucks...which is really all that matters to my kid!

On the actual 4th of July, we went to the parade in Parkville.  Great time!

Shatto Dairy Tour

Shatto is a "local" dairy farm that makes delicious milk and other tasty dairy treats.  I use the term local liberally because it is about an hour and a half from our house.  We recently went on a tour to check it out.  It was worth the drive!

"hot" off the press!

Baby calf that was just born a couple days ago...

Checking out the milking machines...

Grandpa & Grammy's Barn

Grandpa M and Grammy are building a "barn" or a giant building for a house/garage/hanger for all of Grandpa's fun toys.  They have come a long way and we recently took Kamden down for a visit.  He was in HEAVEN.  Grandpa has an buggy, tractor, and airplane!  He didn't want to leave :)

Babies!

This group has come a long way!  We all met online and have supported each other through the struggles of infertility.  Kamden was the first born in the group but now basically everyone has a kiddo!!!!  Last month we got together with the kids at Deanna Rose Farmstead.
