Good Friday & Easter

I should have just titled this "Better late than never" or "#tbt"
Whatever, I'm sure all 4 of you have been really curious about our Easter! HA!!

Good Friday Saturday hot dog roast at Nana's was great!

Brody was pretty darn excited for some chocolate!

The Easter Bunny brought some goodies.  Most notable was some new sunnies for summer! (update: we have already lost them)

Easter at the farm was great, too!
Brody found one of the golden eggs (that means $)

I'm looking fondly at this photo.  Not because the kids are adorable (they are) but mostly because they have coats on.  It is still June and it has been ridiculously hot and dry already.  Not ready for the rest of summer.... at all.

Spring Break in Nebraska

The boys and I made a trip to Nebraska over spring break.  We spent the first night visiting my Aunt and family in Hastings before arriving the next day in Arapahoe.  This visit fell right before Easter so did some fun activities.

Brody was VERY into dying the eggs.

Kam was VERY into getting chocolate.

The boys spent some quality time exploring all the farm equipment.

Kam somehow convinced my cousin to let him drive the tractor!

They love this old teeter-totter.   The video is worth a watch if you need a smile :)

Cabo

Joe and I spent a long weekend at an amazing Hilton resort back in Febuary.  Cabo is our new favorite place in Mexico!  We have vacationed at a ton of Marriott resorts but never a Hilton.  Joe has mostly Hilton points these days so we decided to cash them in!

The resort was located 1/2 way in between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo (airport city).  This meant we weren't on an overpopulated stretch of beach.  Predictably, we spent most of our time relaxing.  One morning we were awake for the sunset before heading out to do some deep sea fishing.

From the fishing boat we saw the famous El Arco...

Sadly, we didn't catch anything.  When going back to the marina, this sea lion jumped on our boat for the leftover bait fish.  It was equally terrifying (for a moment) and awesome.  After the sea lion, a ton of birds/pelicans started swarming for scraps.  Also creepy.

Can't wait to go back! It was an awesome trip!!!

Random January

::edit::  My grammar is terrible on a good day.  I tried to do with with three children going crazy around me.  I'm going to try to make it a tad more better (see what I did there).

Lots of random fun and photos from January...

We celebrated a great Chiefs post season! They came a bit short but it was still a lot of fun!

Kamden has many strengths, but drawing and writing probably isn't considered one of them.  This is the cutest portrait of "Our Family" by Kam at 4.5 years old.

We definitely haven't forgotten our baseball team in the off-season...

We have enjoyed a very mild winter.  This was a great day in January at the zoo!  Brody has a bit of an obsession with the "ippos"

Silliness.  These boys play so well together (most of the time).  The Cozy Coupe has since been retired after becoming a favorite toy to shove down the stairs.

Happy 65th

We celebrated the New Year at my parent's house.  Kids at a ton of fun.  My, party-planning, sister made sure to have hourly countdown activities for them (ending well before midnight)!  This meant we were all together on the 1st.  We planned a little birthday breakfast for my mom's milestone birthday on the 2nd.

Then we did some sledding.  Grandpa made it super easy by picking us up at the bottom with the buggy!

Happy New Year!

Yes, I know it is April.  I like to do things in order so....

Chirstmas Day

After a fun morning at home, we headed to Nana's!  We had a our usual late morning brunch and then we did presents.   Very happy Nana caught this family photo.  It doesn't happen often enough.

I didn't capture a full photo of this but Kam was playing the guitar and was playing the drums.  Plus Baby O really wanted in on the band :)

So thankful Aunt C was able to capture this photo.  It took some effort, to say the least.

Aaaaannnd.  That is Christmas 2015.  Phew!
