Thanksgiving

Pre Thanksgiving was at Nana's house a few weeks before the day.  We had some delicious steaks and time to visit together.  Post Thanksgiving we were supposed to get together with Joe's Dad but we were riddled with the stomach flu so there was no leaving the house.  In fact, Joe didn't come downstairs until the evening.  I quarantined him away from the kids :)

Thanksgiving Day was spent at the farm.  Always crazy when trying to coordinate a meal and 4 kids.  Grandma got all the kids some shirts for Halloween.  We decided to have them wear them and grab a couple of pictures together.... not the easiest but we got some cute ones.  (Brody was asleep ... and his shirt doesn't fit yet)

I thought it would be fun to get a few shots of the boys playing in the leaves.  Unfortunately, the leaves weren't pretty anymore and it was really cold

I told them to throw the leaves in the air... they ended up throwing them directly on me.
Kids = 1, Stacy = 0

We had planned to eat the big meal around 11 so it seemed completely normal to bust out a pumpkin pie martini at 10:45.  In our defense, when everyone has been up since before 6:00 am 10:45 doesn't exactly feel early!

The beautiful bird was delicious!

3 Month Update - Brody

For reference:
Brody's 1 and 2 month
Kamden's 3 month

Zona Rosa Lighting

Oh boy... was this a chilly night.  I think it was about 11 degrees that night.  Luckily, it was really quick and we were able to park very close.   It was fun and I am glad we went but it will be most remembered for being frigid :)

ahhhh.... there she is :)

Family Pictures

My Mom scheduled a photoshoot with an family friend that has started a photography business.  I loved the results!  It was NOT warm but the trees were beautiful so we made it work.  Thanks, Denise

JINX

You owe me a pop... Or better yet, a latte in the morning (cheezy but let the rest of the post decide my state of mind at the time).  This kiddo is adorable and easy 95% of the time. It is currently about 11:30 and he has woken from an all-out "snoring sleep" FIVE times in the last 4.5 hours. I completely blame myself for ever uttering the words "he slept at least 9 hours straight, 3 nights in a row."  It is like I am a rookie or something. Well... Yeah for blogging from a phone late at night! (Which might also explain if the formatting of this post is wonky)

UPDATE: This post never uploaded last night so lucky you guys... you get to hear more complaining!  B definitely wasn't done at 11:30.  He also woke at 12:30, 2:30, and 4:30.  He wasn't even hungry.  Just wanted to be rocked back to sleep.

2 Month Update - Brody

For those of you that are like me and making comparisons, here is Kamden's 2 month update.

Trick or Treat!

This was the first year to really take Kamden trick or treating.  We went before dark... very early in our neighborhood.  We visited just a few houses of the families we know the best.  He was really shy in the beginning but got more open as we went on.  We gave him a couple piece of candy before bed and managed to not give him anymore.  I am sure future years will be a little more difficult to control sugar consumption!

Pictures aren't easy to take when you have a baby strapped to you but I managed to grab a few...

This is what happens when you hand the camera to dad... a blurry picture :)
It is Brody's "I was here" photo.  He was asleep in the ergo but I strapped the cookie costume onto the outside.
