Key Overalls

My Grandpa basically wore Key overalls everyday of his life.  The first grandchild in the family was given a pair when she was born about 40 years ago.  They have been passed down and now we have pictures of all the great grandkids in them.  Here are pictures from our branch of the family tree...

Here is a reminder of how this chunky monkey got to this point...

Christmas Day

(I swear this is my last post about Christmas)

Christmas morning we always do our family celebration.  We open stockings and gifts and then Joe makes crepes.  It is a fun tradition we have started for ourselves.

The dogs are not completely forgotten... they are enjoying their xmas pig's ear (so gross but this is the only time they get them)

 Opening Kamden's stocking
A present from Kamden's Great Aunt, Uncle & second cousin (or first cousin once removed... I still don't get all that nonsense)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This year, we spent the rest of the day at Nana's house (Joe's Mom).

Christmas Morning

(I JUST NOTICED THAT THIS WAS A "DRAFT" INSTEAD OF PUBLISHED.  SORRY IF IT GOES TO THE TOP OF THE BLOG)

Kamden got probably the worst present ever for Christmas... his first cold and subsequent ear infection.  He was feeling pretty awful on Christmas day but he handled it really well.

We spend Christmas morning opening our presents and Joe always makes me crepes.  It is a fun tradition we started a few years ago and we love it!

Christmas Eve

This year we spent Christmas Eve at Grandpa & Grammy's house (Joe's dad & stepmom).  Their family tradition is fondue for dinner.  It is always a fun treat!

We did some fun pictures of Kamden in a box with a lot of wrapping paper and bows.  Lets be honest, he IS the best present ever :)

He was pretty spoiled!  Lots of presents including that great Mizzou chair he is sitting in.

Pre-Christmas in Destin

My parents were not going to see us on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day so they decided to spend a few weeks in Florida.  Their gift to us was having their kids and grandkids join them.  It was quite the adventure!

Kamden did great on his second flying trip.  Maybe not quite as easy as the first but still impressive.

Ready to hit the beach...

We had a beautiful 3 bedroom house that was just a short walk to the beach.  It had balconies off of each bedroom and a wonderful deck.

We went over to Seaside, FL one day.  "Beach" Santa made a visit for the kids!

Happy 2012!

I have a lot to catch up on from the holidays but here is a little card we emailed since we never got around to making Christmas card :)
